Frank passed away peacefully, in hospital at Bournemouth, on
3 January 2006, aged 82.

Francis Hooley, or Frank, as he was more often called,
entered the plot in 1967.  He had previously played for our
arch rivals Finchampstead and was a fine wicket keeper, and
a more than useful batsman.  He was to serve Frimley loyally
for around 20 years, and rapidly became a cult figure around
the club and our opponents.  He was extremely brave,
standing up to all but the very fastest of our bowlers.

Mrs Hooley would like to thank those who attended Frank's
funeral and for the kind wishes.
