From Melbourne we catch an evening flight to the cosmopolitan city of Sydney for 6 nights. Staying at the 5* Sydney Marriott Hotel, we're minutes from downtown Sydney and of course Circular Quay. Apart from the world famous New Years Eve celebrations at the Harbour you'll be able to take in trips to Bondi Beach, Homebush Bay (site of the Olympic Stadium), AMP Tower and as much cricket at the SCG as you can handle. Not for the faint hearted is the "Bridge Climb Experience" which as well as giving fantastic, uninterupted views all over Sydney also has the amazing history of the Harbour Bridge and the blood, sweat and tears that went into it's construction. The Sydney Observatory is open to the public (bookings in advance) and a huge variety of restaurants at the Rocks & Darling Harbour
