Winter training

Junior Colts between: 1-2.30pm
Colts soft ball session: 1-2.30pm
Colts hard Ball session: 2.30 - 4pm

Same as last year, the training sessions will be held at The Sports Hall, Wavell Cody School in Farnborough GU14 6BH on a Sunday afternoon starting on the 8th January 2012 and finishing on the 18th March 2012 (with no training on the 12th Feb as that is half term).

This year we have extended the booking (to incorporate our growing numbers) but split it into two age groups ... one using soft balls only and mainly without the cricket nets and one with a mixture of soft and hard ball with net usage.

The first group will run from 1pm to 2.30pm and will be for under 9's (including the junior colts U6's & U7's whose parents must stay on site). The first hour will be games and skills with the last 30 mins being kwik cricket or similar.

The next session will be for the older colts from 2.30pm to 4pm with regular hard ball net sessions mixed with fun drills and skills exercises.

The cost of this has been kept low again this year and will be £25 for 10 sessions or £5 per individual session for those not able to make it every week. New members will be given the first session free, so if you have any friends interested please bring them along. Frimley CC continues to work towards ECB Clubmark and has invested in coach education to achieve this, with approximately half a dozen new coaches being trained for next year.
